The electronic prescribing service is here!
A free, secure NHS service. Instead of printing and signing paper prescriptions, staff at the surgery will send them electronically directly to the pharmacy of your choice.
It's easier for the patient. Your prescription no longer needs to be collected form the surgery and taken to your pharmacy. It will be sent electronically, saving time. It is a safe and secure process. Your prescription cannot get lost, as we are always able to track on our system where it is in real time.
If you are not already signed up to this service please speak to a staff member to confirm you would like to use electronic prescribing and they will arrange this for you. You do not need to do anything and your ordering process will not change. You can still order either through your local pharmacy, by using the NHS Wales app or by bringing your repeat slip into the surgery.
